Request pricing →Hand dishwashing liquid and machine dish wash liquid are made for different jobs and should not be swapped. Hand dishwashing liquid is designed to foam in the sink. In a dishwashing machine, that foam can overflow and reduce wash performance - which is why Machine Dish Wash Liquid (VT-KC-003) is a low-foam formula.
| Product | SKU | Use | Foam | Pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Machine Dish Wash Liquid | VT-KC-003 | Commercial dishwashing machines | Low foam | 5L |
| Dish Washing Liquid | VT-KC-002 | Sink and pot wash - crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans | Hand dishwashing | 5L |
| Dish Soap Liquid - Lemon Tea | VT-KC-001 | Pantries, front-of-house, staff kitchens, holiday homes | Hand dishwashing | 1L |
Most restaurant and hotel kitchens use two products: VT-KC-003 in the dishwasher, and VT-KC-002 at the sink for pots, pans and items that do not go in the machine.
Dose per label. Each product label gives the correct dose for hand dishwashing or for your dishwashing machine - more product does not mean cleaner dishes, only a higher cost per wash.
Dishwashing is one zone of a kitchen cleaning programme. Vileson supplies the rest of the kitchen range from the same warehouse, so one order covers the whole back-of-house.
Dishwashing sits alongside surfaces, cooking equipment and floors. See our HACCP cleaning chemicals for commercial kitchens.

For burnt-on grease that dish liquid will not shift, use Oven & Grill Cleaner (VT-KC-005).
Banqueting, staff canteens and in-room pantries. See our housekeeping chemicals range.
Shared kitchens and communal dining. See labour camp cleaning chemicals.
Store dish products away from food. See our guide to chemical storage in commercial kitchens.
