Vileson Trade FZCO supplies gym cleaning chemicals in Dubai - equipment sanitizer, disinfectant spray, floor cleaner and hand sanitizer for gyms, fitness centres and health clubs. In a climate-controlled gym at 20-24°C with shared high-touch equipment, cleaning frequency and product choice directly affect member health and inspection readiness. This is the zone-by-zone chemical guide for Dubai fitness facilities.
Each zone in a gym has different surfaces, different contamination types, and different cleaning frequency requirements. Using the right product per zone is more important than quantity.
| Zone | Product | SKU | Frequency | Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cardio and weights equipment | Antibacterial Surface Cleaner | VT-DS-007 | Between users (best practice) | 1:20 in a spray bottle - spray on cloth, wipe handles, seats, pads |
| Equipment and hands between users | Sanitizer Liquid (70% alcohol) | - | Between users | Spray on cloth, 20-30 s on surfaces - not on screens |
| Gym floor (rubber/vinyl) | Antibacterial Floor Cleaner | VT-DS-007 | 2× daily + after closing | 60ml per 5L mop bucket |
| Locker room and showers | Bathroom Cleaner + Disinfectant | VT-GC-003 + VT-DS-002 | 2× daily | Clean tiles, then disinfect surfaces |
| Mirrors and glass | Glass Cleaner | VT-GC-004 | Daily | Spray on cloth - not directly on mirror |
| Reception and common areas | All Purpose Cleaner | VT-GC-001 | Daily - dilute 1:20-1:40 | Counters, door handles, surfaces |
| Entrance and throughout gym | Hand Sanitizer Gel | - | Continuous - dispenser refill | At the entrance and near equipment zones |
Spray VT-DS-007 onto a microfibre cloth - never directly onto equipment. Electronics and screens must not be sprayed directly. Wipe all contact surfaces: handlebar, seat pad, display edges, weight selectors.
VT-GC-003 (bathroom cleaner) for tiles and showers. VT-DS-002 (disinfectant) on all surfaces after cleaning. In Dubai's humidity, mould grows fast in shower grout - daily disinfection is not optional.
Dubai gyms have extensive mirror coverage. Use VT-GC-004 on a clean microfibre cloth. Direct spray on mirrors causes pooling at the bottom edge. Apply to cloth first.
Place hand sanitizer stations at the gym entrance and near equipment zones. Vileson Hand Sanitizer Gel in 5L is the bulk refill for wall-mounted and counter dispensers.
Fixed date. No purchase orders. English SDS on request. Vileson Client Portal for document access.
Shared equipment is touched by dozens of members an hour. Two products cover equipment between users: Sanitizer Liquid - 70% alcohol, kills 99.9% of bacteria, 20-30 seconds contact time on surfaces - and Antibacterial Floor and Surface Cleaner (VT-DS-007) diluted 1:20 in a spray bottle. For door handles, taps and lockers, use ready-to-use Disinfectant Liquid (VT-DS-002).
Members move between equipment, changing rooms and the cafe, so hand hygiene needs two products. At the entrance and near equipment zones, use Hand Sanitizer Gel (WHO formula) in wall or counter dispensers - 50ml, 500ml and 5L. In changing rooms and washrooms, use paraben-free Hand Wash (VT-PC-001) at the basins, refilled from 5L.

Vileson Sanitizer Liquid is a 70% alcohol sanitizer for hands and surfaces. Spray it onto a cloth - not directly onto screens or electronics - and wipe handles, seats and pads; on surfaces it needs a contact time of 20-30 seconds. It is supplied in 5L to refill spray bottles at every station.
For member wipe-down stations, fill spray bottles with Antibacterial Floor and Surface Cleaner (VT-DS-007) diluted 1:20. For high-touch points such as door handles, taps and lockers, use ready-to-use Disinfectant Liquid (VT-DS-002). Always spray onto a cloth near electronics.
Use Hand Sanitizer Gel (WHO formula) in wall and counter dispensers at the entrance and near equipment zones - it is supplied in 50ml, 500ml and 5L. In changing rooms, use paraben-free Hand Wash (VT-PC-001) at the basins.
Six products cover all zones: disinfectant / antibacterial spray for equipment, antibacterial floor cleaner for the gym floor, hand sanitizer gel at entrance and throughout, bathroom cleaner for locker rooms and showers, glass cleaner for mirrors, and all purpose cleaner for reception and common areas. All must carry SDS in English and Arabic for Dubai Municipality and DHA compliance.
Best practice is to wipe equipment contact surfaces between users, and at least every 30 minutes during peak hours. Full wipe-down at end of day. Floors mopped twice daily during peak periods. Locker rooms and showers cleaned and disinfected twice daily. At 20-24°C in a climate-controlled gym, bacterial growth on shared equipment is rapid - frequency is as important as product choice.
Vileson Antibacterial Floor and Surface Cleaner (VT-DS-007) can be used for both: diluted 60ml per 5L for floor mopping, and diluted 1:20 in a spray bottle for equipment surfaces. However, for locker rooms and showers, a dedicated bathroom cleaner (VT-GC-003, pH neutral, ready to use) is recommended for daily cleaning of tiles, shower heads and grout, as Dubai's hard water builds deposits quickly.
