What Is All Purpose Cleaner Used For?
All purpose cleaner is a concentrated multipurpose cleaning formulation used for day-to-day surface cleaning across all areas of a property. In Dubai hotels, serviced apartments, FM operations and commercial facilities, it covers floors, furniture, toilet exteriors, bathroom surfaces and kitchen countertops — replacing 5–6 separate single-use products with one concentrate.
Vileson Trade FZCO's All Purpose Cleaner (VT-GC-001) is formulated for Dubai's hard water supply (300–500 ppm TDS). Standard all purpose cleaners calibrated for European soft water lose 20–30% cleaning efficacy at Dubai's water hardness levels — this formulation maintains performance at the full dilution range.

Dilution Chart — Dubai Hard Water
All purpose cleaner must be diluted correctly in Dubai's hard water. The ratios below are calibrated for 300–500 ppm TDS — higher than the standard dilutions on European packaging.

Note: standard dilution charts (1:60–1:100) are for European soft water. Using those ratios in Dubai results in under-concentration and reduced cleaning performance.

For heavy soiling or grease, use 1:5 to 1:10. Standard European dilutions (1:60–1:100) underperform in Dubai's hard water — always use higher concentration than the label suggests.
Ceramic and porcelain tiles, vinyl floors, laminate, furniture, countertops, bathroom surfaces, kitchen surfaces and toilet exteriors. Not suitable for marble, travertine or limestone — these require a pH neutral cleaner (pH 6–8). For marble floors common in Dubai hotel lobbies, use our pH Neutral Floor Cleaner (VT-FC-001).

Dilute 1 part cleaner in 40 parts water (25ml per litre) for routine floor maintenance. Apply to the floor surface, spread evenly with a previously washed damp mop or cloth, then wipe with a dry lint-free cloth or leave to air dry. No rinsing required at 1:40 dilution. For heavier soil, increase to 1:20.
