Workshop floors deal with engine oil and grease daily, while reception, showroom glass and staff washrooms need the same hygiene standard as any customer-facing business. This range of car workshop cleaning chemicals Dubai garages order from Jebel Ali maps the correct product to each area, from the service bay floor to the customer washroom.
A car workshop or garage in Dubai runs two very different cleaning environments under one roof - a service bay dealing with engine oil, grease and grime, and a customer-facing reception or showroom that needs to look as presentable as any retail space. Using the wrong product in either direction either fails to shift grease or damages a floor finish that was never designed for it.
The core rule: match the product to the area, not the other way round. A degreaser strong enough for an engine bay floor is not what you want on showroom glass, and a glass cleaner will not touch baked-on grease on a workshop floor.
Fire risk in Dubai workshops: many degreasers on the market are solvent-based and flammable - a real hazard in service bays with hot engines, grinding sparks and welding equipment. Heavy Duty Degreaser Water Based (VT-DS-011) is non-flammable, removing that risk.
Four zones are common across UAE car workshops and garages. Each has different cleaning demands based on what it's exposed to.
Oil drips under lifts, grease on ramps and black tyre marks in the service bay need a degreaser, not a floor cleaner. Heavy Duty Degreaser Water Based (VT-DS-011) is an alkaline degreaser at about pH 12 for workshop and garage surfaces. It is water-based and non-flammable, so it is the safer choice near hot engines, grinders and welding bays. Supplied in 5L.
Pour or spray undiluted onto the oily area of the floor, pit, ramp, bench or wall.
Work it into the grease with a stiff brush or deck scrubber to lift the oil from the surface.
Rinse the surface clean with water, then mop daily with Antibacterial Floor & Surface Cleaner.
For most car workshops and garages in Dubai, three Vileson products cover the full cleaning requirement across the service bay and customer-facing areas.

Yes. Heavy Duty Degreaser Water Based (VT-DS-011) is alkaline, at about pH 12, and non-flammable, so it does not carry the fire risk of solvent-based degreasers near hot engines, grinders and welding bays. As with any alkaline cleaner, follow the label and SDS and wear gloves and eye protection.
Apply Heavy Duty Degreaser Water Based neat to the oily area, scrub with a stiff brush, then rinse with water. It is for surfaces only - workshop floors, ramps, pits, tool benches and walls - and not for engine parts or vehicle components. Once the oil is off, maintain the floor daily with Antibacterial Floor & Surface Cleaner.
