Yes. DHA licensing requires single-use disposable blades in all licensed gents' salons and barbershops. Reusing blades between clients — even after disinfection — is not permitted. A sharps disposal box must be present and visible. This is one of the first things a DHA inspector checks in a barbershop.
Dubai's water supply is 300–500 ppm TDS — among the hardest municipal water in the world. Calcium and magnesium deposits build on tiles, shower heads, steam room fixtures and wet room surfaces within days. Standard bathroom cleaners without descaling properties will not remove this mineral buildup.
